The Altman's have a charming vegetable garden here at their beach house which I find utterly adorable. They grow several varieties of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, basil & mint. I am begging Rod to plant a garden for me, if anything an herb garden would be wonderful so that I don't have to spend a fortune on basil, thyme & tarragon. We already have a rosemary plant, mainly because it's the only thing that will grow in the Arizona heat.
Alan pulled some lettuces from the garden for me to make a salad tonight to accompany our dinner (he's making his famous ribs) & I added my infamous homemade dressing, sweet balsamic.
