Sunday Dinner
Rod & I hosted our family's Sunday dinner tonight. In an ode to our time on Fire Island, & Alan Altman, we grilled steaks & made tomato & onion salad with Peter Luger's steak sauce. This is the most delicious sauce we have ever tasted, a cross between a cocktail sauce & sweeter steak sauce. Alan told us that the sauce is good on burgers as well, though we haven't tried that yet. Luckily we were able to find the sauce locally at AJ's (shipping from Luger's online store is a whopping $35) & we intend to keep our fridge fully stocked with it!
