We slept in today (badly needed as far as I'm concerned) & hit the Smithsonian. We did the Air & Space Museum as well as the National Museum of Natural History. The latter had a Harry Winston gallery in it where the Hope diamond is kept - it was magnificent. We headed back to Georgetown for dinner & some shopping (I needed new luggage - the pull handle on mine broke, conveniently, at Dulles Airport when we arrived on Friday). Tomorrow we are boarding the plane, then the subway then the train to get out to The Hamptons.
